There is a wonderful skin lightening agent called Topiclear Number One. It will take about 6 months to see the results, but it is probably one of the cheapest ways to go. Other than that, you can always go for microdermabrasion at a dermatologist (this could be costly).
If the scars aren't too bad - they will fade away on their own. Check with a dermatologists - you probably get better advice there and they can analyze your skin

You need to use a face scrub, and also put sunscreen on your face everyday, since the sun makes scars stand out. If you want to be more extreme go get a face peel, but I've heard that's very painful.

Without surgery or some medical treatment like that there isnt too much to do. I know how you feel, i have acne scars too. I got Clinque acne medication from Filenes and it has been working very well. Also, you can use skin firming cream from like walmart.
