i was wondering if there is anything at all, that makes them fade at least a little bit. My scars are very embarrassing, i get self-consious sometimes. Is there anything you have tried and worked?

Actually the best thing you can do if your problem is serious is to see your doctor, or skin specialist.. a dermatologist ..there is laser resurfacing and dermabrasion that will take off all those scars but it takes like 10 days to heal .. afterwards your skin and you will look and feel much better ,, you can always call d ask questions about the fees %26amp;the applications , also if it is covered under insurance etc Good luckI have alot of acne scars and.....?
try buying an expensive moisturizer, dont scratch ur acne because that can cause scars, i would reccomend foundation but using that only causes more spots, if you have some scars u are really self-consious about, use a concealer, not excessively but just to hide some deep scars. acne is only natural, especially if ur parents suffer from it, thats where u get it from, blame them! :) and just to let u know, if u visit a doctor, they do usually provide u with acne cream or general antibiotics to prevent more acne
oh this stuff, my friend got called acutine ( i dont know how to spell it thats just how it sounds) his whole face was just scars and now its like... perfect. its a pill. he got it from his dermentoloigist i think

They should fade a little bit over time. Other than that I don't think there's anything you can do to make them better unless you want to cover them with some makeup.

Home remidies 4 acne scars?
I have kind of red flat/raised acne scars that are relatively new. my acne just started clearing up lately but they left behind some annoying scars. i don't want to spend a lot of money on it. and please no suggestions with lemon juice because i heard that can irritate your skin, and i have sensitive skin. Here's my routine:

There is a wonderful skin lightening agent called Topiclear Number One. It will take about 6 months to see the results, but it is probably one of the cheapest ways to go. Other than that, you can always go for microdermabrasion at a dermatologist (this could be costly).
If the scars aren't too bad - they will fade away on their own. Check with a dermatologists - you probably get better advice there and they can analyze your skin
Plastic surgery.....no......there are many people who has scars and sombody liked those kind of people what you do is to have a healthy diet but don't have any medical treatment to your scars they do nothing and can do a potential harm to you.

THIS WORKS FAST %26amp; CHEAP!!!
I used Tetracyclin, Proactive, Retina A and had many expensive facials with less than good results.
This has worked for me and many many other happy people.
Go to pharm.,Drug store, or Walmart, buy ';PURPOSE'; bar of soap - Blue box - Made by Johnson %26amp; Johnson - wash your face with this
2-3x's per day. Also pick up a LOW strength Benzoyl-peroxide cream, apply the cream by dabbing
to the individual blemishes.... DONT rub it in works using a oxidation/reduction reaction..It will unclog
dry it out and bring it to a head...DONT over use this or put anywhere else on your face. It will cause drying and make you look worse.
Salicylates such as found in regular asprin among other products work very similar but also remove layers of skin...
other over the counter creams with this product will dry out pimples but maybe too hash and cause surrounding skin trauma..
I have seen many people recommending crushing asprin and making a paste which probably will dry out the blemish but again
pretty strong and probably will cause more tissue damage and bigger scars as an anti inflammatory
probably would take the reddness out... again pretty harsh for sensative skin.
Also, If need which probably will for moisture ASK FOR ';NUTRADERM lotion'; - the orginal not the new stuff, this works
great and wont clog pores or leave a residue on your skin...Any lotion that is completely oil free and hypoallergic should

You have other problems too. You are constipated, Eyes twitch , blister in mouth or sore throat, quite often catch bad cold etc.
The remedy lies in changing your heating habits. Leave all the dead foods, canned foods or pulses/cereals.change over to fresh fruits and vegetables whether raw or half cooked.
With this you wud find bowls clear up fast and you wud start recovery very soon. If you could add up exercise and or walk up to 4 kms it wud be an added advantage.

Try taking a hot shower(will open pores) and cleaning your face by applying rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and rubbing your face with it.making lipstick

Hey Im 15 and i have acne. yes, and i hate it. But im more worried about the scars it leaves behind. my brother is now 18 and he also had acne, even though he popped his pimples, he doesnt seem to have any scars, pox, dents etc. When i look at my face, i can see the dents and the scars. Ive noticed that when people begin to develop facial hair, and shave , the dents and scars go away. First I'd take a very warm wash cloth (clean) and heat it in the micro for a few seconds. Place it on your face. Repeat.
Wash with oxy and put some peroxide on your areas. Follow with an acne cream. REPEAT at night (not the wash cloth part) Find a good toner - too - (I am not sure what CVS or a drug store has).
If you can talk your parents in to looking in to Arbonne's clear advantage it's a nice regime which is good for you. (Better then harsh medicine) and comes with a supplement to help combat acne from the inside out.
pop the pimples, it will be red for a few hours but do go away, the scars some come from the medication it stops the skin from breathing.

I had awful nodular acne for a while a little less than a year ago. The worse part was right along my jaw line, where you couldnt even notice a single pimple, it was just one on top of the other that never went away. I honestly never wanted to leave the house.
I finally had to take accutane and my acne is gone, but now of course i have scars. I dont really have pock mark scars, but redness and raised scars. I know that scars fade over time but I have these raised scars along my jaw line that i dont see ever completely fading away! There are some really harsh chemicals involved in chemical peels so you need a good dermatologist if you dont want anything to go wrong. Best bet is to ask your primary care providor for a refferal.

Why won't my acne scars fade???
I've had some acne scars for a bit. I've been using cocoa butter lotion for a month or two. Most cleared up just fine, but there's some on my cheek %26amp; lip that has not really faded. The one on my lip almost seems darker than it was before I started using cocoa butter lotion. Well,to be honest the best cure are products that have beta hydroxy...But lemon juice can help!(ice cubes are great to unblock pores,they don't do anything to the scars though).YES lemon juice dries your face alot UNLESS you leave it on for 20-25minutes(NOT more),your face should feel tingly after a few minutes,but that's good,DON'T touch your face(don't apply it with your hands,apply it directly from a lemon half).after that,cleanse your face(don't clean it more than 2times daily though)and apply a moisturiser(I hope you have the special oily skin ones,they're not greasy),that will not increase the sebum oil as your skin will already be moisturised,When you go out always apply sunscreen,it fastens the lightening process(sun makes it a lot slower).Do this for a month and don't give up after a few days,results should only be seen after a month or so,then you can continue to make them completely dissapear.but never forget to moisturise and protect your skin from the sun!

it's called esoterica and there's no harmful ingredients. However if you want a natural way then yogurt and lemon with tumeric can helped you, and the lemon should be very diluted due to the yogurt.
You can also try Tea Tree Oil. I know what you're thinking, oil will make things worse but you can google it. it doesn't clog your pores and has been around for quite some time, kinda like tumeric powder.
try putting an ice cube on it for like 10 minutes...making lipstick

Well,to be honest the best cure are products that have beta hydroxy...But lemon juice can help!(ice cubes are great to unblock pores,they don't do anything to the scars though).YES lemon juice dries your face alot UNLESS you leave it on for 20-25minutes(NOT more),your face should feel tingly after a few minutes,but that's good,DON'T touch your face(don't apply it with your hands,apply it directly from a lemon half).after that,cleanse your face(don't clean it more than 2times daily though)and apply a moisturiser(I hope you have the special oily skin ones,they're not greasy),that will not increase the sebum oil as your skin will already be moisturised,When you go out always apply sunscreen,it fastens the lightening process(sun makes it a lot slower).Do this for a month and don't give up after a few days,results should only be seen after a month or so,then you can continue to make them completely dissapear.but never forget to moisturise and protect your skin from the sun!

it's called esoterica and there's no harmful ingredients. However if you want a natural way then yogurt and lemon with tumeric can helped you, and the lemon should be very diluted due to the yogurt.
You can also try Tea Tree Oil. I know what you're thinking, oil will make things worse but you can google it. it doesn't clog your pores and has been around for quite some time, kinda like tumeric powder.

well i dont get any acne, but most of my friends do and i want to be a dermatologist when i grow up so ok here it goes.
1. wash your face twice a day, once in the morning and before you go to bed.
2. check what shampoo you use because some shampoos can make you break out.
3. wash your face with COLD water not hot because pimples like hot water and hot water makes the oil in your face more moist and it grows which causes inflammation.
4. if you have acne scars get some type of cream with vitamin E in it, it really does work and it makes the scars smoother if you have bad and deep scars but if you have mild scars it makes them go away really fast.
5. every night slice up a few cucumbers and put them on the places where you have acne for about 10-15 minutes
6. peel off masks help a lot, they peel the dead skin cells which is really good because it gives you soft skin and it peels away the dirty skin so use a skin peel mask at least twice a week.
7. drink A LOT OF WATER and keep your diet healthy,like eating a lot of fruits and vegetables.
8. do not pop your pimples or pick them because that will give you even more acne scars which are even worse than pimples
9. you can wear make up just make sure its clean and organic make up so it wont clog your pores
10. dont stress out about your situation because that can just make it worse.

a few months ago i had some bad acne on my face and now its all cleared up basically, i just have a few zits here and there.

try rubbing lemon and cucumber in the affected area 4 times a day. In the morning before you go to school or work, take an empty eyedropper and squeeze some lemon juice and cucumber juice in it. Use a q-tip to apply it on the scars 4-5 times a day. Trust me, it will clear up really fast. At night put some neosporin on them and the lemon and cucumber mixture.

like what the hell? i bought vitamin e oil but i heard that it takes SUPER long to see results. im just thinking about seeing a dermatologist. im just sort of scared cause most of the centres here are like laser and stuff and dont like dermatologists are there . its really lowing my self esteem.Serious acne scars help?
You could try acne-free from wal-mart its a lot cheaper than proactiv. Its supposed to contain the same ingrediants but work better. They also carry scar fading kits, so you could try that also. Also drink lots of water it helps with oil control. You could see a dermatologist and they could prescribe something bettery and stronger.Serious acne scars help?
um u can look for nsc doc..they will just ask u eat antibiotics..u can just use tea tree oil frm watson and apply on the affected areas, it helps to reduce the scars..use dainty lavender mask to balance ur pH and reduce the senstiive..u can buy it frm sg website at 88db..they are cheaper than sasa..

NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS IF THEY have sensitive skin and dry skin. This will probably be your best bet because it will make the skin renew itself, by peeling. The blackheads will then surface and can be extracted by applying pressure. Keep in mind that these are prescription drugs and must be prescribe to you, and you only. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions. you will want to drink water and water only. drink more than 8 cups a day. if you have these scars that you would like to remove... the only effective way to remove them is to try lasers

the most important thing in getting rid of scars is keeping them out of sunlight. when you go outside, always put on facial sunscreen. you also need to moisturize. i know it seems girly but im so serious. i fell into a pool and had to get 5 stitches in my face, owe, it left a really bad scar i was devastated, im a girl and we do tend to get carried away with that kind of stuff sometime. i went to my local CVS pharmacy and bought this stuff called SCAR ZONE with green tea. i paid like 15 bucks for it and it worked great. i noticed a rapid change in the appearence of my scar. and that scar zone stuff has sunscreen in it to. i applied it about 3 or 4 times a day. i fell in the pool in the begining of the summer and now my scar is almost compleatyl gone, and the impact to my face almost busted it compleatly through my entire cheek. it works you have got to get some. my little sis has bad stretch marks on her legs and uses bio oil didnt work too great gave her my scar zone stuff and they going away much faster now. and if all else fails, talk to your doctor or go to a specialist and stay out of the sun if you dont have sunscreen on.

Use lakme pure defense. Its awesome. do take steam when u feel dirty about your face. Then use cotton to wipe.
After steam do apply scrub or any natural face pack like neem face powder after that. Use cucumber for coolness. Use potatoe slice to lighten the complexion.
Do drink lot of water. Keep ur system clean. Use Zap and Clear tube for pimples. It works faster than other creams. This is what worked for me after trying so...many things.

How to get of acne scars naturally ??????
How old are you? I didn't have the worst acne in the world when I was younger, but it was fairly bad. If you're under 20, just keep your face clean and maybe apply lotion or an astringent every other day. That should make your face look better. Cocoa butter is supposed to help with that too, but I find that it's too greasy to be applied often (it needs to be washed off too, or else you'll look shiny). If you still have acne, leave your hands off your face unless you're washing it or something. I still have some small scars, but they're not very pronounced. If you're over 25 or so, or if you had the acne in adulthood, I don't know what kinds of results you can expect from doing these things. Good luck!How to get of acne scars naturally ??????

well i have never had them but this stuff works well with pimples zits and acne scars it's called zitzapper and there is also another one called bio oil it makes every sort of scar go away but on one condition keep away from eyes and don't put too much on there you go hope this helps you !!!!!

Okay so I have this Aloe Vera Gel called Aloex 125g 96.8% Pure Aloe Vera, colorless %26amp;almost odorless its awesome, but I was wondering whether it would be more effective cold (as in put in the fridge), because it would close pores (like cold water) and heal faster??

If you closed your pores then it will not sink in very well because it can't get in.. if anything heat it up a little bit, and then close you're pores with something else like water to stop more bacteria getting here.

For your acne what you can do is try home remedies they're great.
One of my favorite remedies is the baking soda mask.
Just has 2 ingredients: baking soda and water.
2 tbsp baking soda and enough water to turn into a paste. Apply a thin layer all over face. leave on for about 20 min.
*remember, a thin layer or it will burn like crazy* do this about 3 times a week for your acne.
heres another thing you can do
Treat your scars with tomato: Tomato is rich in vitamin A, making it effective in stopping the overproduction of sebum that causes acne and acne scars. Tomato also has antioxidant properties that rejuvenate damaged skin. Slice up a tomato every day and place it
over your face to quickly reduce your scars.

For your acne what you can do is try home remedies they're great.
One of my favorite remedies is the baking soda mask.
Just has 2 ingredients: baking soda and water.
2 tbsp baking soda and enough water to turn into a paste. Apply a thin layer all over face. leave on for about 20 min.
*remember, a thin layer or it will burn like crazy* do this about 3 times a week for your acne.

I recommend making sure to use a light moisturizer for combination to oily skin that has sunscreen in it to prevent darkening of the skin surrounding the acne scar. There are many products that help fade acne scars, personally I have tried Mederma and it caused acne for me on my face because it was slightly oily and similar in texture to a petroleum jelly substance. I highly recommend products that have a small amount of salicylic acid in the ingredients because it exfoliates. You can also try using a microdermabrasion product once a week. I use Avon's Micro-Exfoliant and it leaves my skin looking brighter and feeling softer.

Acne scars on cheeks, fade?
I have my senior pictures in 4 days and I have acne scars on my cheeks, their jus scars it鈥檚 not like acne right now. Also on my chin I have sum dark scars small ones. I know they can鈥檛 get rid of in 4 days, but is there something I can do to fade them away a little or at least make it look less in the picture, maybe do something the night before?

Hi, the only way for the acne scars to go away is by chemical peeling. Soap and water won't do it, and definitely not lemon juice. Filipinos have this notion that since lemon bleaches, it can do the same thing to the skin.
Lemon does bleach clothes. But it is too acidic for the skin, especially the facial skin which is extra sensitive. And since you cannot regulate the amount of acid in the lemon, you can burn the skin instead of whitening it.
If the scar is not too deep, just be patient and wait for your skin to heal itself.

Well unlike the poster above, I've had great success with Obagi. I can't say it will take the scars away, but will give you much better skin elasticity and smoother skin. I've had laser too and I can't say it helped my scars either. Cosmetic surgeons would lead you to believe laser and peels are the answer, but the truth is if your scars are as deep as the subcutaneous tissue, no amount of peeling or lasers will reduce them. Another option is something known as subcutaneous incision (subcision). This is where the surgeon/doctor uses a sharp instrument under the skin, to break up and release the scar tissue and then new collagen will raise the scar to the surface.
