Scars are pretty strange. After damaging living tissues (In your case, skin), your body tries to repair the damage using ';Scar Tissue';. That is the scars you see. Scar tissue is irremovable. If it is indeed scars from the acne, they won't go away. The best way to ';get rid'; of them would be to apply some sort of make-up or foundry on the scars to hide them!





But those ';scars'; probably aren't real scars and they should disappear within a week or so!

go to a dermatologist. there are lots of different types of scaring, so no one on here can help. but once it is determined, their are some medications (i think), and some laser treatments if you are willing to spend some money.


but you need to see a dermatologist, they always know best.

I have acne thats actully starting to go away but I still have a few zits and mostly it's just scars. but is there some wash or scrub or something I can use that fights both acne and acne scars at the same time? i heard that morning burst stuff helps with acne scars, but some people say it doesnt do anything except wake you up. please help!Acne scars and acne?
First of all, no one has flawless skin. Some people have it better than others, but thats just genes and stuff. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for skin and beauty tips. I know its for young girls, but it works for anyone!





I know some people who have tried ProActive and it worked, but I also know some others who have tried it and it made it worse :( I know some who have put rubbing alchol on their skin or peroxcide to dry up the pimples. It also kills bacteria :) . Also, try going to a dermotoligist, or ask your regular doctor. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist.





are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into.





Try dabbing toothpaste or honey on your zits before you go to bed - works wonders.





Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.





Oh, and try a different kind of foundation, if you wear it. Try to use a kind with lots of water in it. It looks great and doesn't clog pores half as bad. a good product to use for acne scars is Mederma. it's really good, but it's pricey (around $10-13 a tube) and it takes between three-six months to work. good luck.
Try not to squeeze the pimples, or you will end up with scars. The only thing that worked for me was taking milk out of my diet -- I recommend seeing a nutritionist! No dermatologist was ever able to solve my acne problem.





It's expensive, but micro-dermabrasion helps a lot.
Mederma works well. I prefer using Tea Tree Oil. It naturally fights acne causing candida (one of the root problems with clogged pores) and it fades scars.





Don't let the term ';oil'; freak you out. Tea Tree Oil doesn't cause further breakouts. It fights them.
Try (Proactive) it's really good. If you are getting red cyst that cause what is called (Hyper pigmentation or dark spots that you get after the cyst has healed, then you should go to a Dermatologist.
Try to use orange peel : apply it on affected areas.


Apply lemon juice on affected areas


Use fenugreek leaves

you can get a skin peel!! its way cheaper and you have a good looking nose so if i was you i wouldnt let them mess with it


plus its alot of money


the skin peels are maybe 100- 300 dollars maybe less


but it works

you could just use lemon juice (from a real lemon)


or mint juice


its cheap and it helps alot and its cheap


the lemon may burn a little but it works to get rid of the scars.


just buy some and put it on at night

Can I ever get rid of enlarged pores left from acne scarring?

I had moderate acne as a teenager but I have three or four large acne scars that are enlarged pores. They are pretty big and very easy to see as they are dented in and my skin is not smooth. If I get a chemical peel or microdermabrasion, can these large craters go away? Thank god they are only on one part of my cheek on each side of my face and not all over like it is for some. Microderma can help as long as these craters as you call them are not too deep. If they are, a deep chemical peel can be of more help.


Microderma is a lot more comfortable because it doesn't hurt, it's cheaper and has great results on superficial skin imperfections.

Make an appointment with a qualified cosmetic dermatologist and they make all those assessments themselves. Whether it would be microdermabrasion or a chemical peel is really decided on a variety of factors. Dermabrasion I know costs less than chemical peels. But chemical peels usually work in multiple visits. So more down time. Either way you'd be looking at taking off sometime at work or school.
